Thermography produces a similar appearance to engraving at a lower cost. If you want to add a touch of class to your business card, wedding invitation or stationery at an affordable price, consider thermography.
What Is It?
During thermography printing, special ink is combined with powder and put through an oven. The heat melts the powder and raises the image from the paper. Although thermography creates an effect that is similar to engraving, it’s not able to produce quite as sharp and precise lines as the process it is imitating. Our Laser Raised option is great for prints that need other information printed on them at a later date, they can run through digital printers without any re-melt on the printed piece.
